Finding Inspiration in The Cradle of Jazz. It was a dream come true for The Heavyweights to arrive in great city of New Orleans for the first time as a band! Having moved to NOLA to study and perform courtesy of the Ontario Arts Council, Chris Butcher suggested the band come down to join him to soak up the culture and draw some inspiration from the music scene that has been such a tremendous influence on our work.
